Flick, Adamson, Bennett is a newly formed trio that plays original fusion and traditional jazz along with a bit of R&B. Andy Adamson and Dan Bennett have played Andy's original jazz (Andy Adamson Quintet) and R&B (FUBAR and Medicine Men) together in and around the Detroit-Ann Arbor music scene for many years. Dan Bennett plays extensively in the Ann Arbor/Detroit area and internationally. The addition of Grant Flick on violin (Warren & Flick) brings new energy and a warmth to the trio sound that we are excited to explore. Grant adds his jazz, bluegrass and classical music experience to blend with Dan and Andy creating a unique trio sound.

We're looking forward to play once again at Barry's Rancho Tranquilico Barn for two sets of original Jazz and Fusion! We will feature songs off our latest Album - A Coincidence of Cats as well as enjoy exploring our previously released origionals. The Barn's atmosphere always brings out unique interactions and great jams,

This will be a live musical performance in the barn for a limited audience of 60 people who have been practicing a high degree of caution to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and are preferably fully vaccinated. There is space on the south side of the barn for anyone who would prefer to dance and/or watch the show outdoors.

Parking is via the driveway for Ruhlig's Country Market, one west of mine; watch for the parking czar for directions. Carpooling is encouraged.

Please no tobacco products or animals. BYOB and a lawn or stadium chair. Bathroom is inside the house; please remove your shoes and wear a mask to use it.

Andy Adamson is a self-taught piano player/composer/singer from Ann Arbor who's played jazz and R&B in and around the Detroit-Ann Arbor music scene for the past 50 years. Recently, Andy has written, produced, and performed 4 original instrumental albums with Dan Bennett and his jazz quintet.
